Went Job hunting today, took my CV to all the surf shops in Bondi. No luck though as they all said they were starting to sack their workers due to the high season on the way out. Just chillin in the lounge with the lads and I saw a couple of guys that just moved into my room. I’ve been in the same room for 19 days and I’ve had Italian, English, German, Dutch and American people come and go and they’re all really cool people. Its weird becoming friends with someone then the next day they’re off on their travels again and you’ll probably never see them again. I saw my mate Thomas from Switzerland in the lounge and he was with his mate Chris from Germany. “Have you got a job?” Chris asked me. “I wish” I replied. “Come and work with me tomorrow then if you like?” Chris was offered labouring work in Coogee. 06:30 start, 8 hours work and good money so I was well up for it. I also heard from Daragh that a dude on the site he works on is leaving so there may be an opening for me there which would be cool as its even more money than the job tomorrow, let’s see what happens.
