It was difficult to get up but when I was up, I was ready to go. The builder dude was early so off to work I went. Mick was a middle ages Russian who came over to Australia 30 years ago but his accent was still very strong. Me and Chris had to help out with all the odd job at an office that was having partitioned rooms being installed. We were mainly moving supplies from deliveries into the office and then take the ceiling tiles down ready for a new one that’s to be put up tomorrow so guess what I will be doing tomorrow?!

The people in the office were still working so we had to put dust sheets around them, set a 12 ft plank over their desks and slowly take down each ceiling tile. As we did this, another Russian (Leon) worked on installing the partitioning for the walls. He was taking ages to get each partition exactly straight using his spirit level. The day went quite quickly and it saved me going to the gym due to all the lifting and moving around all day. Just about to take down the last few tiles near when Leon was working. Lifting the plank into place, “clonk” sounded as it swung into to one of the perfectly placed partitions. I look around and no one saw so on I went with a little chuckle. I was going to say to him that I probably just put it out of line but knew he would be pissed off so didn’t bother. I’m sure he’ll find out later on or tomorrow. Plus they could be part of a Russian Mafia so I want to stay in their good books.

Ended up going to the Shack for a couple of jugs, but didn’t stay out too late as I needed to get up at 10 to 6.
